Don’t be alarmed we are working on the next show of Lets Go Caching.

Please be patient during the summer months.  This is the busy season for our wedding side of the business.  We look to have the next show up on Sunday or early Monday June 30th.  We would love to have a sponsor for the show but are waiting until things smooth out after our first born in August to work that out.

We launched show 11 last night.  It coves very little in the studio and focuses on a night hunt for six first to finds.  It seems like everytime we have an event here in Corpus Christi we get a surge in new caches.  Our reviewer publised these at 11:30 on Monday night and we thought we should try to go find them.

On show 11 we will spend most of our time out geocaching.  This past Sunday we attended an event here in Corpus Christi.  Like many of the events we go to everyone there was just talking about all the hides they had just put out.  So it took a few days for the caches to come out, but when they did we went on a geocaching hunt for first time finds.  We were able to get 5 of 6 first to finds.  Depending on how you play the game we could count it 6 of 6.  More on that on another show.

Today we went out and visited the meet & greet event at B&Js pizza.  Ma & Pa Kettle were nice enough to host the event.  This happens to be number 2 of 3 for them this summer.  Make sure you make it out to Port Aransas Beach Bash GC #   GC1BGTE.

Todays event was on the small side but it gave us a great opportunity to share a lot of stories with local cachers like Broray and Wlmhaley.

Well work has been busy as can be here at Big Box Pro.  We got a quick break so we could put up show 10.  On the show we interviewed a local geocacher, Mando98TJ.  He shared a kayaking geocaching adventure with us.

We finally put together show 9 today. We had a good time putting this show together. We went out to an event in Aransas Pass, Texas. The event was GC1Booz put on by Ma&Pa Kettle. This was our first event and it was a blast. If you haven’t ever been out to an event you should take the time to do so.

In this show my mother tags along for her second geocaching outing. She seemed to have a good time and wants to get a GPS unit of her own. She helped us find our 200th cache. Make sure you watch the show to see the rest.

Show 0009 - Coastal Bend Eat and Greet Event and two hunts
Today we go out to our first geocaching event. We interview a few geocachers and hunt for a few caches. Visit our website for more informations www.LetsGoCaching.com.

This weekend we went out caching and took my mom with us.  We will be in San Antonio next weekend celebrating her graduation from The University of Incarnate Word so we will not have time to take her out caching for mothers day.  She had a blast and could be there for our 200th cache.  At then end of our caching run we ended up at GC1BOOZ.  This was our very first meet and greet geocaching event.  It was a blast.  We took a few interviews from local cachers and will be working them into the next show.  We did have the chance to see JMCZ and Broray out at the event.

If you are in the Corpus Christi area there will be one event in June and one in July.  The event in July looks like it will be a big one.   We will have more information and interviews with Ma and Pa Kettle about their up and coming events.

I know we covered a geocaching repair kit last week, but we decided to do it again this week. This weeks kits are from Cache-Advance and they are called “Dr. B’s Cache Repair Kits” These kits are fantastic. They are packed full with just the right amount of items. We also go out and hunt for two caches. One is a new cache in Corpus Christi, and the other it part of the Off Your Rocker series. This makes the third time for us to hunt for the Off Your Rocker cache. The first time there were too many people there and the second time it was missing in action.

Today was  a good day.  After putting up posters all around we called it quits right after sundown.  Of course I about worried myself sick thinking that we would never see our dog again.  We woke up to the phone ringing and it was someone asking about the dog.  We said yes it was ours and would be glad to meet up with them.  The kind man was George Aguas, The Shrimp Pimp.  Yea, what a name.  I am very thankful to George and his wife for helping out and taking care of our dog for us for one night.  Come to find out George has four dogs, two of which are rescued animals.
